Hey All,
Lol this is so weird for me asking random people for help.... but like my dad always told me always trust in the kindness of strrangers ![]() *sigh* Why dont i start from the beginning! Ok im 16 and still at High School(amazing)! Anywho i have a really good freind who happens to be a female! Well anyways i asked her out ages ago and she said that because it was our last year at school that we should concentrate on our work! And anyway now shes ask me to the prom (about 2 months ago) and she always tells me how much she likes me! Now thats all well and good isnt it? Well to me its not! We always get jealous of each other when we are round friends of the opposite sex and stuff like that! I love her so much and i know she loves me back. Its just killing me that we have to wait for so long and that we cant go within 20 metres of each other without being totally shy! Man its depressing as! Well, i really dont know how to deal with this cos usually im teh guy providing the advice (oh what happened to the good old days ![]() |

OK, I personally don't know the both of you OR the relationship you both have...but I'm gonna give my opinion from my understanding of the situation.
You've already established the conclusion that you both really do "like each other." If you two are truly friends, you should talk it out. Communication is the best remedy!! If ya'll just sit around...confused...and jealous...or shy...then what good will it do for the both of you. You two are going to the prom together...make it memorable...and talk about it and find out how each other feels. If it were me, I'd get the courage to talk to her about it...because I hate being away from a close friend. I'm sure if you ask for a minute of her time...she'd give it to you...because she's a friend. ![]() |

if it's very clear that you like her and she likes you, why not just go for it. ask her out after prom.

I mean this all very nicely.
You need to be more confident. It is very apparently that you like her and she likes you, and okay what now? WELL DO SOMETHING, silly. Just be yourself, don't be shy, break out of your shell and be free. Even the people who provide the advice occasionally need to ask for help themselves. I do it all the time. But really, sometimes, you just need to ask yourself for the right advice, considering it's your actions that can either help..or break..the relationship. |
