ever heard the saying, "Nothing lasts forever"? well, whatchu say about that? true or false? ermm.gif could a relationship so perfect come to an end? I really wanna know what your opinion is, 'cause basically, I've been driving myself crazy about my relationship. and, I don't think I could keep holding it in.

False. Relationships last as long as the people in it want it to. If both people <3 eachother the relationship can last their whole life.

Relationships will last as long as the people in it want it to last. It's true that nothing lasts forever, but I think if you keep working on your relationship, and make an effort to make it last, it will last quite a long time.

everyone comes to a end people
you end up dying eventually

but i mean then you have these true love never dies
when one of them die
and the other never loses the love.
so some things i guess could in some ways.

Relationships last as long as the two people want it to last.
if both are content with the relationship
and are always putting in to the relationship
then they can last a long time

basically what all the above said
it's how long you want that relationship to last, and are you willing to make an effort to make it last long. it takes to hands to clap, it'll take two people to make a relationship work out smoothly.
if you think you can't hold on any longer for whatever purpose then save yourself the misery and break it off. don't put yourself throught something that in the long run might not last.

That kind of goes hand in hand with this
really interesting statistic:

50% of marriages end in death.
The other 50% end in divorce.

Call me cynical, but I really believe that nothing does last forever. Humans die and rot, and when both of the people in a relationship die, the love dies. It'll be remembered but it's not there.

I think it's false. Its things like that, that kills people's self esteem, thus, making them think nothing lasts forever.

ending a really strong relationship, that you think is very perfect can really easily and happens very often....my friend has been going out with her last boyfriend for 4 year, they seemed so happy together, like the perfect relationship...i would have never expected anything bad to happen...they were so adorable together....but they just broke up...unfortunatly all good things must come to an end once in a while, no matter how unfortunate it may be

i also think that having a really long 'perfect relationship isnt the best thing....you need to expierience new things, different kinds of personalitys to truly make sure it is the perfect relationship, you get back togeth again after being single for a while, then it is tryly the perfect relationship

Well, honestly, I don't think it's possible if you're in your teen years and such, because I've never experienced/heard of a relationship between two 8th graders last for years and years. It usually falls apart within 2-3 months, maybe more if you guys are really going for "long-lasting" relationships.
