Make him a band t-shirt. Here's a site on stenciling (and) t-shirts. Although you'll have to get paints, freezer paper... =\ Meh. Just an idea. OR you could stencil a picture of you and him together. It's really simple, paper, harder than printing paper. Cut out the stencil, spray paint it on a canvas or roll paint over it with a sponge thing.

You could make a scrap book of your times together. With loads of photo. If he's a romantic one, he might like it very much.

Every boy loves food, so it doesn't matter what you make as long as it's good enough. hahaha.

I'm out of ideas. I'll get back to you.

I think you should just get him something he likes. Not that he won't like the meaningful gifts, but I think it's okay to just be materialistic for birthdays. Save the meaningful presents for anniversary/Valentines. I got my boyfriend a Lacoste polo for his birthday. It's safe, nice, plus he'll look hot in it, heh. So clothing is always good! And then you could include a handmade card.

Okay i think for my 2 year aniiversary (its been too long) I did a couple things, but my boyfriends favorite was my coupon book. This is my secret to success (they now sell them in staore...jocking bastards) What I did, is because I'm the controlling girlfriend sometimes, I thought up a way for him to get things he likes and wants. I made a coupon book out of different colored contruction paper. I write things like "Free Massage!! Present this coupon for 30 minutes of the most relaxing back massage you can imagine. One time use, expiree 13/33/3033" or things like fix favorite dinner, a hug, kisses, a picnic, a camping trip, a trip to anywhere he can think of like six flags, the beatch etc, his choice of a movie, bubble bath bla bla bla. I made repeats too. So he could have something more than once. The I hole punched the corners of all of them, tied it with ribbon, and made the cover out of patterned wrapping paer, then put the ultimate boyfriend coupon book. He loved it. I mean loved it. I think it was mostly the thought that got him. that I took into consideration what [b]he[b/] liked and wanted. And its cheap and relatively easy to do. I would cut the construction paper into 6th. once down the cetner long ways, then twice across. Its a good sze. My bf kept it in his glove compartment. cute stuff.

^thats too cute.
I should try it.

Something i thought of doing, is at craft stores like Micheals(In Canada, Not sure about the States) they have a type of special paper where you print pictures on to, and with an iron you can iron it onto any fabric you want( IE, T shirts.. pillows) So yeah, you could make him a personalized tshirt or blanket or osmething like that :)

I did something along the lines of that.

(You can use this idea if it appeals to you.)

For our sixth month anniversary, I made a "book". It had our pictures in it, and it told the story of how we got together. _smile.gif He really liked it. So maybe your boyfriend would too.

How about food, and go on a picnic? With a real red checkered tablecloth!

If someone made me a peanut-butter-and-jelly-based picnic, I'd be pretty happy.

My boyfriend and I took a lot of pictures together...(from vacays and outings)...he told me that he would like a collage of us and our "memories," for next valentines.

You can try that!! then make him steak and shrimp...with a 6 pack of his favorite beer. I always do that! It's my "special occasion *special*"
