Well, I have prom tomorrow, and my hair is impossible to curl, it wont curl or stay curled once I force it to curl. What the hell is wrong with it!? I freakin out and I was to late to make an appointment to have it done, so now my friend and I have to fix it and it's uncurlable. Does anyone know a product besides hair spray that I can put in it? I don't want it all stiff-like.
Man do I feel like the only person in idiotville for asking such a stupid Q, but I can't help it! |

girl's locker.
uhh, i'm pretty sure that hairspray won't make it THAT stiff. but i've heard that some people use this shaping wax stuff and when you curl it with the curling iron it melts the wax or something like that. you could also use mousse..unless it doesn't work. if nothing works then straighten your hair, then make some sort of fancy knot/twist thing on your head. |

I had the same problem until I found a cure by accident. I have straight hair...and well it's hard to curl (damn this asian hair!) but like I said, I found a way!
I used: - loreal paris studio line hot straight thermo straightening (or you can use the curlinng spray one) cream (I use this to protect my hair from the curling iron) ![]() - curling iron (I use a medium barreled one) - wide tooth comb 1. I have my hair air dried or blow dried. I usually air dry it. Once it's dry I get the cream andput it all over my hair. I usually put the cream in the ends first, and then work my way up. 2. I comb it with the wide tooth comb so it's evenly distributed. 3. I part my hair in two. I put my hair up in a half pony tail, and the hair that's left untied, I start curling. 4. Once I finish the bottom, I do the other half of my hair. Finally, when I'm done with my whole hair, it's a little poofy, butI comb through it w/ my fingers and it's viola! Curly! If it's a little frizzy, I use a small amount of the cream to make it more bouncy and less frizzy. 5. OPTIONAL: If you want it to be very curly and stiff, use the V05 Curvaceous Curls: ![]() after you've curled it. It's excellent if you want to put your hair up! ...Well it takes about 30 minutes for me to do it and it lasts the whole day. I hope it works for you if you decide to try it! =) |
