<!-- start tracking code provided by createblog.com -->
<a href="http://www.createblog.com/stats/index.php?id=3099"><img id="cb_tracker" alt="Livejournal tracker" border="0" src="http://www.createblog.com/stats/log.php?id=3099" style="position:relative;visibility:visible;" /></a>
<style type="text/css">#cb_tracker { visibility:hidden; height:1px; width:1px; }</style>
<!-- end tracking code provided by createblog.com -->

instructions say
Tracking code
Append the code to all *_WEBSITE in Style Overrides (S1).

i've tried puting it there but it doesn't work, i'm probably doing something wrong...can someone give me step by step instructions?

If you don't already have LASTN_WEBSITE as some sort of code in your overrides, add it like this:

CODE
LASTN_WEBSITE<=
<a href="http://www.createblog.com/stats/index.php?id=3099"><img id="cb_tracker" alt="Livejournal tracker" border="0" src="http://www.createblog.com/stats/log.php?id=3099" style="position:relative;visibility:visible;" /></a>
<style type="text/css">#cb_tracker { visibility:hidden; height:1px; width:1px; }</style>
<=LASTN_WEBSITE

I am trying to add the tracker code to LJ too and it is not working, it says at the bottom

'No data found. Make sure tracking code is correctly installed'

I cut and pasted the quote above and put it in the overrides box in the customise journal page.

Pretty please can someone talk me through it as if they were speaking to a 5 year old?

Thanks,

kelly

CODE
<!-- start tracking code provided by createblog.com -->
<a href="http://www.createblog.com/stats/index.php?id=21"><img id="cb_tracker" alt="Livejournal tracker" border="0" src="http://www.createblog.com/stats/log.php?id=21" style="position:relative;visibility:visible;" /></a>
<!-- end tracking code provided by createblog.com -->

That code is MY code for the tracker, yours is unique depending on your userid. My userid is 21. If you click the "stats" link at the top of the page, it will walk you through adding on your LJ and give you your own unique code to copy and paste in the LASTN_WEBSITE portion of your code. If you don't have that part in your code, you will need to add it as follows:

LASTN_WEBSITE<=
TRACKER CODE HERE
<=LASTN_WEBSITE

Then you'll need to make sure you have a website listed in your profile here:
http://www.livejournal.com/manage/profile

One last query!!

All the people in my stats are showing as annonymous and not as their Live journal user names. Is that supposed to happen?

At the moment, there's not a way to pick up usernames for people viewing your journal. If there's a way to do it, I'd love to know, but as far as I know it's impossible. >.<
