no i think it shows that you respect his family as well as him. my friend bought a present for her boyfriend's mom's birthday. i think his family will think a lot of you for buying his brother a present.

I don't really think it is, because it would show that you care about your boyfriend's family too.

I guess it depends on how well you know your boyfriend's little brother. In my case, I don't know my boyfriend's little bro that much at all. We don't talk or joke around or anything. So yeah, it'd be weird for me to buy him a gift, but if everyone else was doing it and it was a really special occassion, of course I'd do it.

I personally think it's a very cute idea.
Get him something small and fun.
Maybe something edible lol.

I mean it's probably the considerate/nice thing to do.
It can't hurt either. I'd try it.

I don't think she should make you buy it. It's a nice suggestion, though.

I think it's stupid that she has to make you do that. Isn't your boyfriend's family important to you? I'm sure his confirmation is important and etc, so it'd be nice if you gave him a gift. You and your boyfriend can both get him something so it's not overly awkward if you don't speak or anything.

i agree. if you want to have a good, long relationship with your boyfriend it'd be nice to have a good relationship with his family. you don't have to buy something extravagent. just sweet and simple.

I agree with all the "No I don't think it's stupid" comments, because I don't, and mostly for the reasons said above. It'd be cute ^^;
