I've been trying to install a .bin file on my mac and it opens in exel and it doesn't work.
What I'm asking is, what do I open the file on?

Bin files are used in programs and such. They are also used as an Image file. Such as when downloading Warez files, most of the teams usually put them in a bin file, along with a .cue. Either that or they put them in a standard ISO file. Although they prefer the Bin.

Anyways, what .bin file is it? Like what info does it hold, or where'd you get it? Info man, INFO!

A .bin file is a Macintosh file archive and it can be decompressed with StuffIt Expander. StuffIt Expander is available for free from here.

Guilty as charged. I've worked with Macintoshes since the early 1990s, so I know my way around them pretty well.
