The wind whispers across
The beautiful roses. The heavenly scent carries Along the wind and I smile. Walking alone, along the gardens I come across a Solitary white rose. It was standing Tall and erect, And I grin to myself as I Notice that it was thornless. I pick it from its grassy home And bring it up to my Face to smell its scent, But as I glance at it, I gasp in surprise. The ivory rose was Stained crimson with blood. Dropping it with shock, I stare at my shaking hands. They were covered in blood And I was deathly afraid I looked up As I heard a whispery voice But I didn't see anyone Another white rose Was set out on the ground Right in front of me But this time I didn't let My love for flowers Get the best of me I didn't know if It was going to Be another crimson stained rose. I wouldn't take the chance. |

It was more symbolic because most of the time I've placed roses on my grandparent's graves and I've cried more than once and instead of normal tears being in the roses, I made them be tears of blood and they stained the roses red basically making them red roses...A kind of creepy thing the way i wrote about them, but they're a symbol of love.

I'm pleased that I started reading your work today. The structure of your writing creates vivid imagery as I read it. I'm enjoying your work. In the two entries that I've read, it seems as though writing is a constructive way of understanding and working through issues for you.

Yeah most of the time it is...I usually pick up a pen and get out my notebook when I can't usually get out my feelings in words and they just seem to flow out on the paper...Or I just start to draw something and I write something that goes with the picture....

You write remarkable things that don't get the attention they deserve, or maybe people like me are a limited audience =) I collect roses and I've always wished I could squeeze a bud until it bled. Your writing makes me think I'm not so strange.

Thanks...Most of the time I just write what's on the top of my head at the time when I get inspired and it goes from there...Some of my poems I wouldn't call that great but I've brought others closer to me that were more personal....I've noticed that they had more emotion to them and they turned out better. Heh, I'm pretty strange when I get down to it... XD

That was amazing, I loved how deep and symbolic it was. I wish I could write like that; whenever I try to write to let all my feelings out I get angrier because I realize I can't do it...O_o You're awesome though, and yes, I agree, best poem I've read in a long while.
