I used to have a script that removed the Xanga announcements from my premium blog. In a recent site re-design, I seem to have lost it. Please help!

I searched the script section, the xanga section in general, and even went page-by-page through the script section and read each of the titles. I don't see it anywhere. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks!

.... When you sign in? With "New Weblog Entry", "Public Preview",
"Upload Photos"? I dunno why you'd wanna disable that...
CODE
<style type="text/css">table.announcements{display: none;}</style>

No, not the links to new weblog entry and public preview. Of course you wouldn't want to disable that! _smile.gif But right below that, between those links and your first entry, where Xanga puts announcements... Like the current ones about the flagging system and the photoblog. I know the code *does* exist, because I was using it until yesterday. And, I know that the code I removed when these pesky announcements came back was one that had the tagline "--- begin code provided by createblog---" so I was hoping someone here would be able to help me find it again. cry.gif

Ch. That? I still don't see why you'd wanna disable that, but...
CODE
<style type="text/css">#Announcements1_lblAnnouncement{display: none;}</style>

Thanks, Fishcake-y. I knew someone here could help me. You guys are awesome!

Why would I want to disable it? I just don't like all of the extra text on the screen. It's annoying. My boyfriend is legally blind so we have the text size really big on the computer. He has to use an enlargement program as well but the default is set as big as possible... so extra text is just extra clutter I have to scroll through.
