So my mom bought a bag of spinach, then she told me to put them in this bowl and wash them with flour. So as I do that, when I pour the spinach into the bowl, this DEAD GRASSHOPPER falls out with the spinach.
 We never got around to calling the company about it.So what have you found in any package, that you found disgusting? |

Haha, like last year I bought this big bag of peanuts. And when I opened it, there was this big black spider, and it was walking around the bag and everything.
Also, one of my teachers back in elementary school told us that she poured herself a bowl of cereal, and there were mealworms in it. She didn't notice them until she finished half the bowl though

ive never really found anything weird in food, but i have one question. why do you wash spinach with flour?
btw, there is somet topic like this somewhere because i remember frankie posting about his bagel being covered in mold. it was a while back and i dont feel like searching for it. |

this happened to me before....my family and i were at a resturant and the guy brought out our soup and when he opened the lid there was a fat cock a roach in it...he quickly grabbed it out..but my dad noticed it so to make it up..he brought out the "more expensive" soup out
we never ate there again |

i was going to cook rice, and i went to the rice bag to get a cup of rice..right? so i look inside the bag and there are worms and nasty bugs growing all over it. groooooossssss
once, i was drinking coke and there was a dead fly in it. i didn't realize it till it was inside my mouth. disgusting. i'm pretty sure there's more, but i can't think of them right now. |

Ew. that is yucky.
One time i was at this Filipino restaurant. And i got the fried pig with the sauce that comes with it. And i found a dead fly in the sauce. It was yucky. But good thing i was 8 or around 8. Cuz if that happen to me now, i would start yelling. lol. But i dont go there anymore. My sis and I joke around saying it should be rated a C instead of an A. And its kinda dirty in there also. But i dont if it changed or not cuz that was the last time i went in there. |

In Taiwan, I went to this restauraunt. Steak and noodles on those black grill things. Yeahh. Well in the soup there were dead, floating ants. I ate like the one fourths of the soup. And then my Taiwan friend just ate the ants, and said it was nutritious and high in calcium.
And in this restaurant here, "Loon Wah" or something, we found this piece of glass in the soup. My dad got angry and called the manager. And then the manager offered to discount everything and my dad just said no. I didn't see the point in calling the manager. So then my dad pays the tip and leaves. We've never been to that place again. Last one: A beer cap inside a chinese takeout box. =D off topic but can someone like lower my warn level to 0. maybe 1 or 2 percent is fine. |

WOAH. a dead grasshopper. wow if it that was me i would have been like running around the whole house screaming my head off and like never eat another package of spinach anymore without having it thurougly (sp) checked.
as for me myself finding anything in packages; i dont think i've found any live creatures but i have seen cockaroches crawling around the house which grosses me out so i barely eat at home now. |

well, it`s not that i found something weird but,
i just ordered chinese food and you know how they have fortune cookies. right? so i take one outta the like big bag, and then i have the wrapper, some air in it, but no fortune cookie o_o. oh yea, and in school, my friend was drinking orange juice and something was blocking it from her straw. the whole table looked to see what was in there, it was a giant floating thing of mold. that was disgusting. and it was only like 2 months ago |

There was a time when I was vacationing in Mexico and we ate at one of the resturaunts there and I found dead bugs and spiders in the food and trays. There were crushed guts of bugs on some plates and silverwear.

anyways, back to topic. once again, i found something in my food. i was eating hamburgers at this restaurant and after i ate 1/4 of it, i felt something crunchy. i spit it out to see what it was. it was a gigantic, fat, cockroach. i literally ran to the bathroom and almost threw up.

I've found this weird piece of METAL in one of those rabbit candy things.
And I find hair in my lunch food sometimes. It's white, so I know it's not mine. And we used to have ants and I found all these ants (like 20 of them no kidding) in this grape jam jar that wasn't closed tight. |

when i was in china my grandma was picking maggots out of rice, i sat down and helped her. and then she cooked the rice that night and i ate it. :) i found weird little flying bug thingies in my soup, in china. and once we were eating at this really fancy dancy resturant and they had this little wooden boat thing with a bunch of veggies in it and a big lobster head at the front of the boat(for decoration). i noticed that the lobster head was still kinda moving and wigglings its eyes. keep in mind that it was just an empty lobster head shell with nothing in it. oh, and this also happened in china. china is awesome :) |

Haha, one time my friend wanted more for lunch so I ripped out some of my hair (because I have an extreme amount of hair and so it doesn't hurt me at all). Then we put it in his food. And I mean, it was a rediculous amount of hair in there. So much that if a lunch lady had actually done it, it would've had to of been deliberate. He got a free ice cream out of it!

Yeah I've never really found nasty stuff in my food. There's the occasional hair.. but for some reason, I don't really mind hair that much. I know it's unsanitary, but I don't think it's as big a deal as alot of people make it out to be.

One of these nightmares went something like this: I was eating pizza when suddenly, these armpit-like hairs were all in it, they were all in my mouth, and it was SOOOO nasty. But I rarely find anything weird in my food. |

i have two stories....
one time at my grandma's house when i was 6 years old or something, i was eating chicken noodle soup when all of a sudden i find a piece of wood in my soup. of all things to find in a bowl of soup, i got a piece of wood. it was weird.then another time at my grandma's when i was like 11, i was making a bowl of oatmeal when i found a mealworm in it. what made it so bad was that i had eaten like half the bowl before i found it. i still don't think i've eaten oatmeal to this day... |
