im seeing all of these bullitens go up on myspace about "420" and how "in a half hour is 420"


i know that means april 20th but whats so great about it?

'420' entered drug parlance as a term signifying the time to light up a joint.

It was originally started in California as a group of kids meant it as a time to meet up to smoke that mary jane.

Nothing else you here is true.

i used to be a hardcore stoner....so, i know the origins of 420. but, i never got into using it myself. ANYTIME was time to smoke up...but, 4/20 did give us a silly reason to buy a quarter...or a half...or a full oz. cause we were cool.

Today's also my brother's birthday. Yep, back in the Junior High days everyone would be ranting on about it being a great day and we'd buy an OZ or 2 and waste the day away. I got out of the habit a year later.

Yesterday was my first time doin 420. I think its stupid. Why do u need a specific day to get blown? I do it when ever I want. But I did yesterday nonetheless. It was crazy. I brought a dub, my man brought a dub and a nick, and like 4-5 others brought a nick. We didnt blaze up all of it but we was still f***ed up. cool.gif

Dude I'm suprised no one knows. 420 is the police code for possesion of marajuana. So, stoners use the day 420 as smoking day. Lol. Know you all are enlightened. And I don't know this because I "celebreate" it, I know it because well..I went to high school!

well our school police officer told us that a long time ago. Thats funny that he had no clue what he was talking about. Must have been new or something lol. I just always assumed he knew what he was talking about.
