If you eat a hearty/heavy/both/something like that meal, it should put you to sleep.

I used to sleep or rather just go to bed and watch tv at the time of your post but I have an interview and might get a job so I got up at 7am. It's 8am now because I took a shower.

TV helps me sleep, the boring music videos on MTV put me to sleep, the boring reruns they have, or the shopping channels.

I read until I'm too tired to do anything. I'm a heavy sleeper, so I don't usually have this problem.
