OK, This is kina my fault... I cant blame them.
I met my boy friend in September around his 17th brithday.(Im 15 I turned that in December) Anyway... Im in love with him and I love spending time with him and yeah hes a history buff and im a computer geek ( Blends, CreateBlog, Xanga, Myspace, RPG's and all that good junk) a match made in heaven right? geeks dating geeks.. lol. (They dont like hanging out with us because there not in to the same stuff were in to) Anyway my friends have slowly gotten away from me. I kinda like staying away from them because there in to drugs and what not and I dont want that in my life at this point anymore(I used to do that stuff every day but got out of it). He feels gilty for me not spending enough time with them even though I knda dont wanna hang out with them if there high and what not. ( The other day he told me that they walked by him and acted like they didnt even know him.. like he was just another fly on the wall) <---- not cool in my book. But I love them to bits and they love me to. Uh, its just so frusterating... What do I do?   It was windy out lol and I sliped :-/  I dont have a real problem on the far right she is taking me to drug and alo classes to get me help on my problems I <3 her for that |

Shelby, if they're not being supportive of you then they're not real friends. And if you don't like hanging out with them then they're not your real friends. And if they don't listen to you for good advice about stopping then they're not good friends. Your boyfriend sounds sweet. I hope your friends don't ruin your relationship with him. But really the real solution for these things is confrontation.

They understand that i dont want to do that kind of stuff anymore and there glad that I dont and happy for me but I just do want to be around them when there high or when there getting high because that would mean that I would want to get high to.. There always high so yeah..

You know what? Tell them to just stop the drugs or at least lay off a bit of the juice. Tell them you want to spend quality time with them which means they're in a stable condition. Like I said, confrontation is actually a real choice in the matter.

I liked how the sat me down. All 4 of them and they were all like. What is wrong with you. YOu are changing and you never come around anymore and we dont think its you we think its Travis... (my boyfriend)
and im kina doing stuff with him that they dont beleve and they also told me that when sitting there. :-O BUT HEY why should they care what I do with him because its not them.. -_- I love that they care and all but I think there not getting the picture... I think me not hanging out with them is a good thing on my part.. |

They're not even sticking up for the right thing. If it is your boyfriend, he did positive changes on you. Shelby, I used to have friends like that and I felt better once i found cleaner and new ones.

Thats the thing all my friends do that and Ive known them for all my life. One since 6th grade. The other 3 all my life.. Yes I know I dont have alot of friends but hey! Ive been going to church alot more lately and I have been getting to know the church more and trying to get to know new people .. maybe I will meet a new friend some where. -_-
I do think he has made my life better in lots of ways and I am so happy for that. That is another reason im in love with him to :-) Im spilling my heart out on cb.. I feel so queer. |

^Nah it's okay, spill as much beans as butterflies!
Well the length of a relationship (best friend, dating, all that stuff) doesn't quite match the significance of how devoted someone is to that relationship. If your friends aren't willing to change for the better, then they suck. |

I really dont care if they want to keep getting high (Which I must say is pritty fun :-/) * YELLS* "IM NOT SCARED TO SAY IT!" It made me a better person and I know I can do better! Let them its not me. I love them but there digging there own grave not mine... I probley will never give up pot but it shouldent be a every day thing... a once every three month thing lol. >.<

When I found out my friend was a heroin addict I kept talking to her about it, bringing it up. Convincing her to quit. It worked for a bit but then she did it again. I still am convincing her. Maybe you should try the same with your friends? It can be a bit scary to think of what they're gonna do or think of you later but it's not a vain effort.

I will be called a hipocrit and they will look at me like .. " Your one to talk" But I started going to classes and Im so happy that this one friend of my shes in the picture at the top .. in the tank top she has alo problems and we have been going to these classes on W-Day.

I have that problem with my friends sometimes too.. But honestly when you're in a relationship.. It's not about your friends like him or you like his friends. It's about you && your boyfriend liking each other && not caring what other people including your friends think about it.. but they do need to accept him as your boyfriend && they do need to respect you & yuor boyfriends relationship.. b/c that shows respect towards you not jusst him.. If they don't do that then girl you need to find yourself somenew friends.. Some TRUE friends!!..

Yeah, Its hard to find really good people where I live every body thinks there better then somebody else and thast not me .. I pritty much like everybody till they f**k me over.. :-)
