Once I heard what the plot was, I swore never to see the movie.
The movie is set during a time period where the Japanese were still very isolationist. I find it hard to believe they would hire a former US soldier to put down a class like the Samurai. It just doesn't make sense. I realize its a movie and all, but I couldn't get past that. |

I saw it, and it was pretty good- a bit bloody. eh- it didn't really follow according to history, but it was good.

i thought it was a nice movie, with all the right elements of tenderness and violence that makes up a great war movie... if you can call it that...

it was so good. it was so fierce and it was a cause worth fighting for. plus it had some humor throughout, so while watch people's heads being speared, you can laugh too
