I went to Mates of State/Ben davis and the jets/Maria taylor last night.
I dont have enough time to go to alot of the concerts I want to go to. David crowder is coming in april.... *dies* I hope I can go to that. |

I promise. It was the most amazing concert I'd ever been to. I was in the very front and I was like, drooling. The opening band, Amina (I don't know if they'll be at the show you're going to), was also really amazing. They're also an Icelandic band, and they're all girls. Very pretty music. Umm. Yeah, I'm not sure what shows I'll be going to soon. Hopefully I'll be going to Depeche Mode in May. I wanted to go to Bob Dylan in April, but I'd have to be rich. Sigh. |

haha, didn't I make the old thread? I never did wind up seeing any of those concerts, either
mmm, I'm going nowhere. I keep trying to see bands, and either no one else likes them (The New Pornographers) and wants to go or they sell out before I get a chance to buy the tickets (i.e. Death Cab, twice now, Snow Patrol once, and I think there were more) I don't really have much to contribute right now, but if anyone wants the new Snow Patrol leak, I'll send it to you |

It's funny, even though I'm in the hotbed of musical performances - New York - I have nothing coming up. I will, however, post a list of band I want to see live:
Matisyahu - He's here like once every couple months or so, he was even here like...two days ago and I STILL haven't seen him perform) Panic! At the Disco The Bravery - I've wanted to see them perform since last year, which is a shame since they're from New York and they perform all the freaking time up here. Lady Sovereign - Another one who seems to be here all the freakin' time. Mos Def - He's gonna perform on May 19th or something like that at Radio City Music Hall...10 days after I'm finally back home for the summer. And he's gonna be with the Roots  M.I.A. Gorillaz - Too bad tickets to their stint at the Apollo sold out the first hour they were on sale. |

At least they were both going
 Belle and Sebastian are coming, but not the New Pornographers, and while I love belle and Sebastian too, it would have been too much trouble to find someone to accompany me for only them. Plus, I resent that the new Pornographers just weren't coming back, since I missed them in October.

switchfoot w/ mute math and the truckstops and statelines tour w/ The Academy Is... Panic! at the Disco, hellogoodbye and Acceptance (which i must include, they were both amazing!) the next shows im going to are- the fray and Panic! At the Disco (again :]) with Ok Go and the Hush Sound |

i saw taking back sunday a couple of weeks ago and the audience totally killed it. completely dead. it was a free show at a college so it kind of makes sense but it ruined it for me.

I went to the Avenged Sevenfold and Coheed and Cambria show on Thursday the 27th. It was AMAZING! I loved that Head Automatica opened. Best show ever.
I'm still considering whether to go to Warped, I might. I want to go to Sounds of the Underground and Ozzfest too. |

Kid Rock came out to sing Nightrain. Sebastian Bach came out to sing My Michelle. Izzy came out for 3 songs too. |

The last show I went to was X-Fest, hosted by a local radio station. This show included sets from: Panic! At The Disco, She Wants Revenge, OK Go, Hard-Fi, Dashboard Confessional, Franz Ferdinand, The Sounds, Echo And The Bunnymen, Reeve Oliver, and possibly one other local band that I don't remember the name of. Of the bands that did a meet and greet, each of them were really nice. This was an amazing show (=.
Jul. 11 - Warped Tour. Aug. 1 - Panic! At The Disco, The Hush Sound, and The Dresden Dolls. I'm so excited! |
