hmm, i don't know if it's bad for you, but i think that if you hold it in now, then later on it's going to be a HUGE sneeze! lols..but i only hold mine in when someone's talking or something of that nature..i don't want to be rude. haha wink.gif

i'll bet it sucks out your brains if you do it a lot. shifty.gif

hm. actually, i really have no idea, but it makes my nose all stuffy and i end up sneezing anyways. i never really got how to hold in sneezes.

I love wikipedia throb.gif

QUOTE
Folk remedies for sneezing are common. Among them are the following:

Apply upward pressure to the bottom of your nose.
Tickle or press against the top of your mouth with your tongue.
Looking up with your eyes but not your head.
Hold open your eyelid. As previously mentioned, it is almost impossible to sneeze with your eyelids open.
Holding your breath for long enough when one feels a sneeze coming will usually prevent a sneeze. Sneezing requires air to expel, and simply eliminating the air until the nervous response goes away means no sneeze. This is immensely preferable to blocking the nose, which can result in damage to the delicate structures of the inner ears, or redirecting the sneeze through your mouth, which can result in the oral ejection of phlegm and saliva.
Wiki's View on Sneezing
I don't think it's a problem unless you hold your nose.

if you surpress (sp) a sneeze... you can pop a blood vessle in your eye, head or brain and then you can die.

i read it somewhere, the same place where i read that horses cant vomit.

Mm, I think so. But don't you get a strange tingly feeling when you try to hold in a sneeze? Bleh, the boogers and such.
