okay so here's that awkward stage we go through.

when we're crushing on someone! sometimes it gets the better of us and we want to spill our guts out!!!...but what if they don't feel the same? even worst... if they didn't like us at all to being with?!?!?!

so for all of us who took the risk, who took a dive....how did it go?

any stories to share or experiences?

I've never been rejected, usually I wait for a person to ask me. There have been times when I have considered going up to someone but I usually fall for people I'm good friends with, (or I become good friends with the people I'm falling for) and I find out in some way shape or form that the answer would have been a no. Either that they have a girlfriend, or that they are crushing on someone else, stuff like that. Any other time, and this is most of the time, if I have feelings for someone they happen to have feelings for me too. I guess I'm good at communicating my attraction to someone non verbally. But like I said I fall for people who are my friends, its a natural progression for me. So they are probably the same and way and it just works. Thats why I'm usually never enemies with my exes. :)

Once i let my friend talk me into letting her tell my crush she "thinks" i like him, & it totally blew! :O he said "Sorry, tell her i don't like her." I guess it was for the best, he's one of my closest friends now, & i know there's always a possibilty he could form feelings for me ;P

only once in my life have i put myself out there and told a guy i liked him...i planned it out but then i chickened out, i blurted it out the next week. it turned out he did like me a little back. little by little it has gotten more serious, so hooray

don't worry about getting rejected. at least you're brave enough to put yourself out there while the rest of us wait and let oppurtunities pass.

I got rejected once. I asked to the Sadie hawkins dance and he didn't answer me directly. I find it incredibly funny that I worked up enough courage to tell him that I wanted to go with him because I liked him, but he didn't have enough to tell me no, according to him, he doesn't go to dances. . So he told my friends.

Yeahh, I've been rejected a couple of times, but that was when I was fat in elementary.. && I when I use to send notes to a boys on pieces of paper.. Saying will you go out with me?.. Circle yes or no.. Now when I want something I get it.. b/c first; I lost 20 pounds && second;... I don't play mind games anymore.. I'm done with that.. But yeah I wouldn't know what it feels like to get rejected anymore b/c I'm done with the asking.. I'm the one who gets asked..

I've told guys I liked them and they've told me they haven't liked me, which I consider rejection, don't you? I dunno, this kinda thing always seemed relatively easy to me, even if I loved the guy and was really scared, I'd still want to know what he thought.

Anyway, I've only ever really asked a guy out once....and I'm still with him today

I've been rejected once, I really liked this guy who was in my gym class, he didn't know I liked him but he stared at me ALOT and so I thought he did. I asked him out but he said no. I crushed on him fer about 5 months before I asked him out. I cried when he said no. I stilll like him to this day. He still stares at me whenever he gets a chance (to this day.) I can't really say I've been rejected, because I've never put myself in a situation, where I can be.

I've never gotten rejected before.
That's because I'm usually very, very careful before heading into a relationship- I usually know the person very well and hang out with them quite regularily before even considering a more-than-friends relationship. I very rarely confess I like somebody because usually it's just a crush. I just don't put myself in a situation where rejection is an option very often.

same here. I told this guy I liked him and he just stood there; blank face, no reaction, I was embarrassed so I left and ended up crying the whole night. It was my first time telling someone I liked them too. -_- and he never brought it up.
