I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I want to ask again. I am new to this and I'm still trying to learn the "blending" technique. I tried the gradient method, but it got confusing. So what's the best way? I tried to do smoething and here's how it came out. Is this right?

Your blend is okay. I still see part of the line where the two pics used to meet.
I think the gradient overlay is the easiest to learn... at least this was the first method I tried. |

i prefer feathering myself.
i wrote a really bad tutorial on it in the tutorials section. some people prefer erasing.. the eraser annoys me. and your blend isnt bad. |

I agree w/ Winnie, that gradients are pretty useful.
