I don`t know if this belongs here..
but.. How come when I try to host a .png or .bmp on photobucket it changes it file extensions and/or size? |

They will resize it if its over 512kb? I think that was there size limit. And it always said it would be resized. Pngs are usually big unless you "save for web" so its reasonable for a png to be resized.

My image is
325 kb though. My bmp images resizes too. |

Eh.
It just did that to me. I can't seem to find any help document explaining it, so I'll just recommend that you use another host. |

Maybe they have a certain size for bmp images also. That's only other explanation that I can think of.

This is what it says.
Valid file types: jpg, gif, png, bmp, tif, swf Images larger than 512 KB are automatically resized My image size is 604x354 PNG File and 260 kb I don`t know why it resizes. anyone else wanna give it a try? I don`t wanna change my image hosting place because I want a place like photobucket so I can store all my graphics there.and I don`t wanan create another account.
