When you eat at your family dining table, or whatever table you eat on, do you have a specific seat that you always or preferably sit in?

For me it's the same spot everyday.

Asian fengshui:

elders sit facing the doorway, or in the designated 'head' of the table.

well in our kitchen, we have a tv in it, so whenever i eat, i just sit were i can see the tv best. :]

but when we're in the dinning room eating on a special occasion, i usually sit next to my dad or something cos they always "help" me decide if i want to eat this or that mellow.gif

I try to sit in the same spot. It's usually the spot that has the view of the TV, but everyone likes that spot so it's either that one or the one directly across from that one.

Man, I haven't eaten at the table in a lonnggg time lol.

It's just me and my mom and usually we don't eat dinner together cuz of work hours so I eat on the couch :) The newwww couch. The couch that will stain if I drop something on it. The couch that mom yells at me all the time about. It's a wonderful thing :)

But if we do eat at the table then I like sitting in the same spot.

Same. It's rare that I actually sit and eat at the table now but when I do, I still sit in that same spot.

We always sit in the same spot every day. We're too lazy to have to fight for our seats. :)

Uh I just choose a random seat. No one really cares. We only argue if there aren't any seats left.
