After months and months of coding (actually, more like one week of code and months and months of procrastinating), I'm pleased to present to you the latest iteration of CreateBlog - CreateBlog version 3. It's been real fun working on the code, I must say I've learned a lot through the process.
This release is dedicated to our current and ex admins who's dedication and hard work is really what keeps this site going. Seon Ho, Gina, Kim, Kathleen, Roxanne, Christina, and Mona - Thank you! Everyone give them an e-pat-on-the-back. *pat pat pat* NEW FEATURES -a revamped layouts section -new script, graphics, and tutorial sections. -search function implementing tagging system. -new look! -forum software upgrade -submitters may now edit their submissions anytime WHAT'S TO COME For the next week or so, our staff members will be cleaning up the broken images and adding tags to previously submitted layouts to make them searchable. If you've submitted a layout in the past, please make our task easiler by updating your submission to include some tags yourself. For starters, each layout should have a color tag. Also, if the screenshot is broken, you may submit one, but please make sure its taken in full screen mode (f11) in 1024x768 resolution. The topsite will be reintroduced by the end of the month, and will be more robust than the previous one. Then I'll tackle on even a bigger project than CB, to be launched by the beginning of this summer, if not earlier. If you think this is good... well, you've seen nothing yet! =P FOUND A BUG? Post in this topic detailing how to reproduce the bug! Buggy bugg bugs likes to crawl everywhere. Off to bed! CREDITS The new logo was designed by our very talented Roxanne. I don't really like it either.
I'm not liking the small fonts. And pages take a long time to load. I don't really like the left alignment. Everything looks more... modern, but the older one was simpler which imo was better. maybe it just takes some time to get used to. |

Hmm, it's not bad. Thanks for all the hard work you put into it, but it will have some getting used to. I do prefer the center alignment and the header did remind me of google haha. Ahh, I'm also used to the forum/subforum I'm in to be listen on the bottom. But great job!

BUG PROBLEM.
how am i suppose to color tag my layout red ... if the tag has to be MORE THAN 3 characters? r, e, d, = 3 letters. and when you are typing in tags... if you type in .. words like " schoolgirl, girl " .. or that sort of .. repeating kind of word.. the second word won't show up. ( i hope you get what i mean. ) and.. i think you can enter more than 10 tags.. even though it says it's restricted up to 10 tags total. i typed in 11 tags, and they all showed up.... until i counted and deleted some of them. |

Hmm, I think the thing I miss the most is that on the bottom, there would bt the link to the main subforum, so that after I reply, I could just click that link to get back. Now, I have to scroll up to do it. Ah well, I'll get used to it.

on the index page, clicking a topic title brings up the first unread post, while clicking the >> gives the newest post.
on the forum page, clicking a topic title brings up the first page, and clicking the >> gives the first unread post. quick edit wasn't working with firefox before, but i think it is now. |

Personally, I like it. Now, I know I will be flamed for saying this, but it just seems that we're trying to be futuristic. The old one was sweet and simple, and how come forums isn't an option when we first log in? But still, I like it, it just seems a bit too far to the left...
