okay so i have PSP 9..nd i have been downloading brushes for it..nd most of them worked out...except some of the files wen i tried to import them into psp..sed that they were newer versions..w/e that means..anywho for some reasons now..none of the brushes wen i download them work now..b/c they're all .jpg for some reason nd they wont show up wen i try to import them into paint shop pro..does anyone know how to change the default settings for how they're opened?

orr...if anyone can help me..please please comment this

.jpg is an image format?


.jbr is the brush format for psp, and when you download, you have to make sure it's for your version. I have no idea whether there is a psp10+ but..if so then those brushes are useless since you have a lower version.

.jpg is not a brush file extension. It's most likely a preview of what the brush looks like.

did you "extract" them first?
If you haven't these are the steps to extracted "zipped" files.

-open the folder which the brush is stored in
-right click
-extract or "extract all files" on some computers

then when you import them into your PSP you have to chose the one that has already been extracted.

you have to change the brush ps to psp by doing that is change .jbr to .abr
