okay. so interests needs less subforums.
entertainment needs more. so; post your thoughts, a new arrangement (be sure to include where the threads from teh old posts would go) |

- Introductions
- The Lounge - Entertainment ... Music ... The Big Screen (TV, Movies) ... Misc - Interests ... Debate ... Writing ... Fashion (lounge?) ... Technology (lounge?) ... Sports (entertainment?) - Pictures - Relationships - Boys Locker - Girls Locker you guys have to look at the statistics and not use your personal judgements.. i mean debate and fashion are the two most active interest subforums, while however close knit the anime forum is, it still isnt active. |

There needs to be serioues reorganization. I liked Justin's idea for the coffeshop the most out of all I've heard. And I honestly think a books forum would thrive.

Debate is rather stagnant right now.
no new debates. mostly just repeating old ones to newbies. and any new ones are mostly current events. |

However, I think Jusun is now putting Cars, Health, Sports, and Current Events in Lounge... |

thanks all for this discussion. please read:
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php...dpost&p=1895059 by that, i mean: instead of saying 'oh, lets add this, take this out, merge this and that together', coming up with a complete set of forum structure, focusing on the 'community center' forums. although i applaud the thought that goes into the individual suggestions, why i dont like them is because they tend not to take into consideration how the rest of the forums are organized. uniformity is key to a more user friendly forums.. which is what we are striving for no? |

the thing about coffeeshop is it would be like having the age seperations, as i think older people would be more gravitated towards that.
-introductions -lounge (current) -entertainment: --TV and Movies --Music --Humor (would contain TV and Movies from entertainment, Anime from interests, and any technology relating to the three (like new TVs, ipods, etc.)(cars, as becuase of motor sports, also here) -coffeeshop: a place to discuss books, school, current events, etc. --debate corner (if needed) --writer's spotlight (if needed) would prefer it be one large lump tho. would mean more traffic for everything. (current events, books from entertainment, debate, writing, school) -pictures -G pod (can't think of a name) --locker rooms (boys and girls' lockers) --relationships --health (or the nurse) yea, it'd reduce the number of community forums, but i think it'd work. |

I think if Literature is going to be implemented rather than Books, it would make sense if Writing would be in there as well.
I like the idea of dividing up Entertainment into Books, Movies, Television, and Anime/Manga. I would have liked the idea of Current/Events and Debate together. Too bad all of Current Events is in the Lounge. Sports would be nice in Entertainment... And leisure sports can go under Hobbies. Interests needs some cleaning out as it has been stated, but cb3 is our main priority right now. Edit\\ Actually, I got a chance to look at Interests and Entertainment. I like the way it is now. It'll take some time to get used to, but the way they are currently organized is great. |

Combining Current Events/Debate would be funny. The current debate topics won’t be easy to search. I have a feeling that people will post millions of current events which would cover the debate topic.

-Screen name changes -Moderators -The Lounge -Entertainment -Games (like Xbox and PS2, not forum games.) -TV/Movies -Anime -Music -Interests -Literature (With Writing and Books as subforums) -Health -Fashion -Arts -Home Economics (Knitting, sewing, maybe even have some recipies (sp?) in it. -Excersize (((MAYBE...))) -Relationships -Thoughts/Motivational? -Pictures -Sports -The Locker Room -Controversial -Conversation (I'll explain this at the bottom of my post) -Interactive -Forum Games -Humor -School ^^I liked the whole interactive deal =D But what I don't like is the idea of merging the locker rooms. Like I can see having a general heading, The Lockers, and then having the guys and gals subforums, but personally I wouldn't feel too comfortable if there was a guy reading, "What should I use? Tampon or pad?" And "Omg...that was a freaking bloodbath and it stained my panties!" So I think that the locker rooms should just stay the same. I thought that controversial would basically cover debate/current events, becase right now I'm trying my best not to overcroud the interests forum. About the conversation forum, I think it should only have one post, and when it gets to page 20 or something have a new version. Just to like discuss things, anything - kinda like how people get to page 21 in that one game. Just show eachother hot pics of guys, talk about your latest crush, and blah blah blah. I know it might sound lame, but who knows? It MIGHT work! //EDIT// Okay, I just edited my forum organization. I took out the Sports in Entertainment and made it its own forum. And maybe we can have like different sports as subforums? For example, under Sports we can have baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, tennis, and misc. How about that? And I took out the boys locker room. |

i think keeping those two the way they are isnt a bad idea. (girl's/boy's locker) they are both very active forums as of now and merging them sounds like it would either be the same as now or perhaps a little less active, but not better. imo.

![]() It doesn't get a lot of activity, but that doesn't mean it needs to be dropped. I actually really like that forum. I know, I love that forum! It doesn't get a lot of traffic, but it's nice to read all the recipes and find out about different kinds of foods and such. I am completely against merging Current Events and Debate. Agreed. And I am completely against Sports in Entertainment. |

i think keeping those two the way they are isnt a bad idea. (girl's/boy's locker) they are both very active forums as of now and merging them sounds like it would either be the same as now or perhaps a little less active, but not better. imo. it isnt so much a question of the boys' locker room being active, its just who is making up that activity. currently, the majority, or near majority, are girls, so what is the point of having a seperate froum? |

^ Well that doesn't seem to fair though. They need to either be merged or kept separate and one should not be trashed and the other kept.
Merging the Locker Rooms seems like such a beast of burden though. |

Well yeah, that was just my compromise. Agh, I just want to keep the girls locker room. I have absolutely no problem with keeping up the guys too.

I am completely against merging Current Events and Debate. ^I also agree with that. Seriously, merging the girls and boys locker rooms wouldn't be good. Most of the members on CB are between the ages of 11-18. They need a forum to go and ask questions and stuff. Girls need their own space too, and I think it's only fair to let guys have their space as well. Like I said, it'd be like combining the bathrooms at a mall. You just don't do that. |

It's more a problem with practicality. You can set aside a gender-specific forum in name only. |

Because I have a feeling a lot of girls wouldn't feel comfortable if a guy was reading about their first period.
Well, I have a feeling their gonna merge........so I'll go ahead and change my "layout" |

there have been a couple minor changes as of today.
forum games has been moved to the interests forum. books and sports have been added as subforums of the interests forum. this will probably be the bulk of forum reorganization for now. |

That was harsh, Rico. Well, what about the Arcade? Since we don't have an arcade anymore, I think that suits the forum quite well. Naming it acrade sounds a little misleading because it may actually lead people to believe they are going into the forum to play arcade games. |

who ever did this should be shot... ![]() ![]() i thought sandbox was pretty creative. its basically to make the subforums look more uniform in the sense that theyre all one word names. if you have any good ideas, please be sure to make some suggestions. we're always open for ideas. with regard to "who ever did this should be shot" i dont think that was necessary but i guess everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. i guess your only opposition was the name 'sandbox', what do you think about the organization of the forum? hopefully its all not too difficult to get used to. we decided not to make any major changes because with the launch of cB3 there have already been a lot of changes so we just made some small ones. continue to give us feedback! its all appreciated. |

^^My thoughts exactly. Because arcade denotes to coin-operated games, not fourm games.

couldnt you just leave it as "Forum Games"?? ... sandbox sounds rather childish We were going with a reorginization, chaniging some fourm names, consolidating some of the subfourms within one fourm. ---------------- I don't think that "arcade" would work for the name for the subfourm of games. http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php...5entry1980059 |
