JANET JACKSON RUINED ALL HALFTIME SHOWS.

ever since that little incident, networks have only been hiring old "safe" men past their prime, and cowboys that sing. what did sports fans do to deserve this garbage?

the super bowl was played in detriot. are there no good detriot artists at all? where is kid rock? where is eminem? mariah carey just had the biggest year ever, where is she? u2 and coldplay also had gigantic years, where were they? why was patty labelle, stevie wonder, and aretha franklin all limited to the pregame show? i thoght this was detriot!

i thought i was watching the fed ex commercial with the dinosaurs when the rolling stones were performing. dudes didnt sound like an emo band, but why were they wearing those tight pants? complete garbage

then we had meatloaf at last years nba finals. charles barkley said it best. "meatloaf? i call that performance mystery meat, because i dont know what the hell they were doing".

rip halftime shows.

on to superbowl commercials...

burdweiser commrecials were pretty dope, magic fridge was pretty funny
the caveman one with fedex was funny
godaddy was good also


but other than that, this year everything from the actual game, the halftime performance, and the commercials, umm sucked.

I kinda liked the Halftime show the Rolling Stones are good but the sound quality and stuff was pretty bad..oh ya and rock stars do usually wear tight pants..but whatever the guys are 60 and I give them credit for putting on a good show. I only saw a couple of commericals but I thought the Hummer H3 was funny, I liked the Pirate one to, and the Fabio commerical with the hair product hah hilarious. laugh.gif

commercials for the super bowl's are classics...i always enjoy seeing them.

I listened to Parliament and watched the Halftime Show on mute.

The best commercial had to be from Sprint where the guy pegged the other guy in the head with phone.

Other than the ones mentioned, I liked the one for CareerBuilder.com with the whole jackasses joke. But yo...what was up with all those women-specific commercials? It's the Super Bowl, the epitome of testosterone-driven sports wondefulness, I don't need to see commercials for cleaning products.

And other than the Halftime show being performed by men well pass their prime, the Stones (and Paul McCartney before them last year) are BRITISH. What do they care/know about (American) football?

i like that commercial with the horse pulling the wagon thing while 2 other grown horses are helping him in the back but the little horse doesnt know. it was cute.

-The Budweiser "wave"..I loved it :)
-The young horse pulling on the wagon
-The magic fridge

edit//did anyone see some rocker guy playing a violin and having a "showdown" with a girl who played a violin for a coke product? i remember our orchestra teacher said there was going to be an ad like that?

yeah the rolling stones performance was completely garbage. disgrace to the super bowl. but hey, at least the game was not that bad.

my favorites were the caveman fed-ex commercial and the bud light commercial when they get chased by a bear!
