John Cena is loathed by 50% of the WWE fans. Internet wrestling fans want him dead. I'm not a big fan of him, I dislike him quite a bit. But this is no excuse for the stupidity of the WWE writers (bookers). Look at these ratings
December 19, 2005 3.7 (JOHN CENA IS CHAMPION) December 26, 2005 3.7 (JOHN CENA IS THE CHAMPION) January 2, 2006 3.7 (JOHN CENA IS THE CHAMPION) January 9, 2006 4.3 (EDGE IS CHAMPION) January 16, 2006 4.3 (EDGE IS CHAMPION) January 23, 2006 4.5 (EDGE IS CHAMPION) THE STUPIDITY! Ratings are soooo low with John Cena as Champion. Ratings spike drmastically when Edge wins the Championship, so what do they do> They give Cena back the championship. Unbelievable stupidity... Don't double post because nobody replies to your threads. Also This belongs here, as this is the Sports Entertainment.
Personally, I think the Rated R superstar thing was stupid. I liked John Cena as a champion much better. You could also tell Edge wasn't going to be a champion for long. He still kept the Spinner belt. |
