Dear mother and father,

I looked through the photo album you gave me full of my childhood pictures along with your letter. I feel horrible for turning out to be such a delinquent that can never make you guys proud. I've been going back to school just so I can impress both of you. Just remember mother and father, even through my misbehaviors, I love both of you more than anything. I've been so cruel to both of you and I took you guys for granted. I never knew, even with all the trouble I caused, you guys can still be proud and love me.

i know i've never said this to you but i love you and i appreciate all the things you do for me. i wish we didn't have a language barrier. i'm sorry i'm not in touch with our culture and i can't even have a conversation with you anymore... thank you for having my back and being there for me through the whole police+ex boyfriend drama. i may not agree with you about my now 10pm curfew but we both know it's keeping me out of a lot of trouble. and...thank you for really being a mom to me when i'm not even a quarter of a true daughter to you.

What can I say? I could go on and on just talking about how much you guys mean to me. You guys motivated me since day 1. We had our ups and downs through this thing we call life. You guys showed me the road up ahead, and you guys gave me the confidence to walk down on it. Never would I have been able to walk through struggles in my life with out you. I'm blessed to have parents who actually give a damn about their kids. God blessed me with his best. I thank god to have you guys...really, I do.....man, it's incredible how things like these makes the toughest guy break down.

I love you mom and dad, with all the love a son could have for their parents.

What I would like to appreciate my parents for, are the few good things theyve done. Provided me with shelter most of the time, when I wasnt kicked out. Feeding me most of the time, when i wasnt buying the groceries myself, and for being so horribly and utterly terrible at parenting, because now I know what i want in my life, who I want, and how I want to become. It is the exact opposite of everything my parents have done to eachother and done to me, but most of all, I want to do everything they didnt do. And thats exactly how I know I will be the perfect parent (:
