i'm a bit confused... Options

i'm pretty new to this whole deal, and i've been having some problems that i can't find addressed in the forums.

in my layout, i added in a code to remove the left modules, and i also have my page aligned to the right. the blog body lines up closer to the center on the main page though, which is exactly what i want, but once i get to the comments page, it is pushed all the way over to the right, and the text is illegible. i'd like to move the comments back over to the middle of the page, but i have absolutely no idea how to do it or even what i did wrong. if someone could help me, and possibly give me some detailed instructions, that would be great. (after all, i am still a noob).
