So confused about a boy., Read please! Options

K, so, my exboyfriend has been acting strange around me lately. so you know what's going on & know why i'm confused i'll explain everything that's been going on on the days we've seen each other :

One Day Last Week-
i was with this sophomore boy the whole time at musical auditions and he kept hugging me and sitting really close and so my ex just kept glaring at him & came over and just started hanging around me alot and looking at me and even when he wasnt by me hed just sit there and stare at me. and hed keep walking back in forth in front of me. normally when he's near me he'll go somewhere really far away so he's not by me anymore, but now he wouldn't leave. for the next few days, he would glare at the sophomore boy whenever he saw him. before all this happened he would always smile at my friend, but now he glares. also, when this other guy asked to have a sip of my soda, i bent down to pick it up & my ex was staring at me with a look on his face that was like ' dont you dare '

Tuesday-
at musical rehearsal, i sat down behind my friend [different one than last week] & my ex immediately moved from his seat to one closer to me. i started singing & my ex just stared at me and smiled and suddenly started talking to me which he never does. he joked with me alot & stared at me so much it got kindof awkward. also, this may sound wierd, but i was wearing a skirt and he stared at my legs .. alot. rofl. wierd i know, im just confused. he kept doing all this stuff, acting like he was showing off. & yeah. lol. he kept mentioning stuff from when we were going out too.

Yesterday-
at rehearsal we were at the piano ; me myex myfriend & myotherfriend. and myex was playing the piano and i was sitting next to him and he kept staring at me with this soft look on his face so i started singing and he got even more relaxed or something and kept smiling and staring at me. oh yeah, & when we were at the piano, he kept turning around to look at me when i was sitting behind him as if to check i was still there. and then at one point he just turned around and stared at me and im like " what?" and hes like ".. nothing" and turned back around. he did that once at the piano too when i was sitting next to him he was just staring and i started laughing and asked what and he just smiled really slightly and is like " .. nothing." and when this sophomore that likes me came in and he picked me up and spung me around and put his arm around my waist and myex-hah-that boy looked like he could kill. & of course, he was staring at my legs again. actually i think he was checking me out actually i saw him. but then at some points he would act like he didnt care, or he was just being with the boys lol.

Today-
all that happened today was he stared at me for a long time from across the room and whenever i got up in rehearsal, but he wasnt sitting near me so nothing really could happen. i remember him glaring at these two upperclassmen guys whenever they would talk to me.

JUST SO YOU ALL KNOW, WE HAVE CLASSES TOGETHER, SO THERES MORE THAT HAPPENS, BUT ITD TAKE FOREVER. LOL

it's all really crazy & confusing if you don't notice. & i really don't know what to think because the last time i heard, in the end of december, he doesn't like me. but i don't know if that's changed or what, i was just wondering what you guys can make of it. it'd be a great help. thanks in advanced<3[U]

It's obvious he still has feelings. He can't make it any more obvious unless he confesses it. Ask him if you really want to know. Maybe hes just missing the good days when you were going out.

update on what happened TODAY-
during rehearsal for the musical, we were learning how to tap in dance rehearsal & i was in the group far away from my ex and he kept turning around to watch me.
&& then i moved to the group next to him & he kept staring at me, like ALOT. & when he saw that i noticed he turned around, but he kept turning back around & doing it again.

then i went to the "slow learning" group lol & he was in the fast learning group and he kept looking at me. and then this junior guy picked me up and spun me around & i saw my ex and he was doing the usual glare to the junior & his face was like " jesus christ. dont touch her" and then we left, & me myex & myfriend were outside & myex kept staring at me and then my mom came & hes like "HI MRS *MY LAST NAME*" and started waving like crazy.

now its getting more confusing. the other day me him and our friend(a guy) were hanging out. and my ex kept hugging me and putting his arm around me and grabbing me around the waist, ruffling my hair, basically flirting really playfully with me. and it seemed like he liked me so much.
and now, its not like he ignores me, but hes just not paying attention to me anymore. i talk to him, but hes not doing anything that shows he likes me.

and i just have no idea. hes the kindof person that gets shy around his "crushes". he did that last year where he wouldnt really talk to me when he liked me. but idk if thats it right now. im so confused, cause what he did the other day, he wouldnt just do that to me, cause it's ME. he'd never hug me or touch me for the past few months we've been broken up. and now he's doing it. and its just odd.

The way i see it, he broke up with you for a reason, adn I can understand that this reason must be personal. Your stories have indicated that obviously he has been given you a lot of attention, but that doesn't mean that he still likes you. I know that for a fact because if he had that kind of feeling for you, then you would have just asked you out again. End of story.

But since that wasn't the case, then this situation that you are in is different. He is kind of possessive in a way that he gets jealous easily. Maybe he have grown sexuality attractive to you. What was the reason that he broke up with you? Can you tell me?

For some reason, I think he have a personal reason. yea, he is acting kind of weird, but with a little of thought, Maybe I can figure it out, with the help of your feedbacks and updates that is. Keep me updated.

kay, one of you said to keep you updated so here's something realllly important that just happened.

we had musical rehearsal today and i was filling in for the lead. and in this part, she has to kiss the leading man. so my friend told me that when the 'leading man' kissed me, he watched my ex, and my ex turned bright red and looked really pissed off and shocked. according to my friend he just froze. and then forced a fake laugh.

and the whole day of rehearsal today, my ex was flirting with me alot. and i really mean alot. he kept tickling me and holding me really close to him and chasing me around. idk.

^ I think you should talk to him about what's going on too. But, don't just ask him if "he has a problem with you" this time (because when you said that the previous time, you didn't get much info). Just take him aside and ask him calmly why he's changing his actions around you so much, then give a few examples, like when he's playing with you, hugging you, then all of a sudden the next day he ignores you. Be careful with your words, because if you make him too uncomfortable, then he will most likely not tell the truth. Tell him you really want to know, that you want to know the truth.

Also, since you said you like him back, be careful with your feelings. Do you really want to get back with him? Give your feelings (and his) some time after you talk to him. Just think about what you really want.

As some others said, though, this is just what you are noticing about what he is doing. We can't say for sure, even though he really does seem to like you. Maybe he's just having this after-jealousy sort of thing, where he's afraid that someone else will go out with you, and he's not sure if he likes you or not. That's just a possibility.

in december he told me to move on, and then beginning in january he started all this stuff so who knows. he kept glaring at my friend in musical rehearsal today cause my friend's my dance partner for a certain dance. it was kindof funny actually cause we had to do all these lifts and he would just give my friend dirty looks.
