sweet/cute valentine's day ideas

with valentine's day rolling around the corner (actually, a little less than a month), i was hoping to do something sweet/cute for my girlfriend. any suggestions? ideas? in addition, feel free to share your past experiences, whether it be good or bad! rolleyes.gif

Hmmm....lets see. I will edit this in a few with suggestions.

Of course there are the traditional things like giving her flowers, taking her out to dinner, or walking on the beach (if there is a beach near you and it isnt cold)

A personalized gift like a personalized picture frame with both of your names engraved on it with your favorite picture of the both you inside.
Another gift idea is Build a Bear http://www.buildabear.com/ (I actually wouldnt mind having one as a Valintines gift). With a Build a Bear you personalize the bear to fit your girlfriend's personality.

I had a saved link of unique ideas for Valentines Day but I can't find it :[
These are the ones I can think off the top of my head for right now.

get her favorite drink and put it in a pretty thermos with a ribbon and a bracelet/necklace if she wears jewelry around it, with a note attached.

and a framed collage of you two, paper and glue. or a stuffed animal that has some sort of significance somehow.
and then take her somewhere.

i think most girls are content.. slash-overjoyed just being able to be with you for longer than usual. or at least, i am.

is valentine's day a big thing for her? if it isnt she may not want something really super special or anything. you could write her a poem or make a picture story/card thing. like write little phrases and take pictures for those. ex. i'm lost without you- take a picture of you holding a map or something (have a few of those). i dunno, just an idea

get a bag of kisses save the lil tag that say kisses and put it in a box with something else in there like a lil gift and write heres a thousand kisses for you...kinda cheezy but itz all good...lolz...

hmm, i like the collage idea. perhaps with pictures of the two of you together and such? another cute, but really simple idea is a teddy bear holding chocolates. haha
but yes, build-a-bears are awesome. i have two of my own. rolleyes.gif
hm...take her out and don't tell her where. doesn't have to be something huge, but perhaps a nice restaurant then dessert and if the weather is okay, a nice walk somewhere. *shrug*

i need ideas for GUYS too...hm. help? haha

get her a big teddy bear and one red rose. and then write a note with something sweet like, "the teddy bear is for when you're thinking of me, and the red rose is for what i think of you..." idk something sweet. rolleyes.gif

so HA!

anyways....i'm the type of girl that really don't care if a guy spends a shiz load of money on me or not. on Valentine's day i would just like to spend time with him. so i would take her out somewhere she really enjoys and out to dinner or whatever, and then afterwards a walk in the park sounds nice... tongue.gif

Hmm, make her a scrapbook of all the times you've been together, with things that mean something to both of you. Or a collage of pictures of you together. Or, you could always buy her a bouquet of roses and make her (not buy) a sweet card telling her how much you like her and enjoy being with her, especially on that day.
Hmm, I won't be able to see my boyfriend on Valentine's Day, because he has classes and I have a school trip. But, we're not too big on Valentine's Day, but I plan on getting him something anyways.

if you want, and you have time to organize it, then make her go on a scavenger hunt around town, or something. and have her find cute little things like stuffed animals and boxes of chocolates and have her at last get to a little restaurant where you can enjoy a romantic dinner... and then take her back to your place. shifty.gif
