I'm going crazy trying to align my LEFT column (where interests, contact me, books, heroes sections are) is completely out of wack.

The actual text and images are CENTERED but the whole column is moved to the RIGHT. How can I fix it so that it looks CENTERED?

I have the same problem.
No idea what to do.

^ Try using thumbnails and making your images smaller.
You have alot that are way to big.

So why don't you go through all the places you added images and change your
<img src="imgurlhre">
to
<a href="imgurlhere"><img src="imgurlheretoo" height="50" border="0"></a>

you can change it to more than 50, but try to keep it lower than 200 to see if that will fix your problem.
