ImageReady, personally. I think it gives a more professional less tacky image.
Not saying that animation shop always gives out tacky images, its just that some of the pre-set animation things are really..tacky. Aren't there like 5 billion topics like this? |

Imageready, it is MORE than animation to it, ie: image mapping and slicing.

I like and use them both equally. I use Animation Shop for my web sites buttons and PS Image Ready for all of my slicing image needs :)
