To let go isn`t to forget, not think about, or ignore. It doesn't leave feelings of anger, jealousy, or regret. Letting go isn`t winning, nor is it losing. It`s not about pride. It`s not obsessing about or dwelling on the past. It isn`t about loss and it`s not defeat. To let go is to cherish memories but overcome them. Letting go is having the courage to accept change, the strength to keep moving. Letting go is growing up.


Letting go isn't easy.

it's so extremely hard for me. i'm still trying to let go and there wasn't even a substantial thing...

but for some people it's easy. they just accept it and move on... *sigh*

this is so true...letting go is extremely difficult for me. well, sometimes it does depend on the relationship. but for me, even if the relationship was horrible, theres still those moments in the relationship that i miss and want to recapture. but i know that things happen for a reason. so, even if its not easy i still try to let go... ermm.gif

well it really depends on how well the relationship and the emotions between the two people are. letting go must be the hardest thing in the entire relationship process when your heart's in the right place.

This is nice (: Looks like it may belong in writing though ?

And, it is very hard to let go. Sometimes, we think we have let go, when all we really did was move on. ( Big difference )

Well, it depends on the relationship. If you both really liked each other, then letting go is extremely hard. But, if it was abusive or something, it should be easier to let go.

if she actually wrote it then yeah but she most likely didn't.

to some people letting go is hard but they have to realize that there are reasons as to why you have to let go. it's not too hard for me anymore, i give my all in a relationship and if it doesn't work out than it wasn't meant to be and i walk away.

hmm, did you really write that now? stubborn.gif i'm sorry but i'm not too gullible and i hate plagiarism.

letting go isnt easy; true... its hard to let go of somebody.. i moved on [in a relationship now] but sometimes i wonder what my ex is doing.. =/ not so good.

no, letting go is -never- easy. even if the relationship was abusive. there has to have been something that kept you there, so getting rid of it is difficult

Perfectly true.- i tried it and it works. I managed to let go in 3 weeks! It was a very intense feeling i had for him. I have accepted he's getting married to someone else. I'll always cherish the memories of the times i spent with him. No regrets! happy.gif
Letting go is not that hard..if u really try it with all ur inner strength!

because you really dont want to, and its not like you have any choice.
you can be miserable forever..
or you can let go, and hopefully be happy again someday...

For me letting go for me was more coming terms with the idea the guy i loved would never love me. It meant I had to release all dreams I had for us. It was hard and took along time but i think im over him.
