Just a short scene from a script I started, but never quite finished. The one character, Max, has transferred to a new school, and has made a new friend, who is finally warming up to him.

INT. RESTROOM

MAX and CONOR are standing at the urinals.

Conor
(after a pause of silence)

Y'know, Max, I think I'm gonna like you.

MAXWELL

Well, that's good to know.

CONOR

Yeah. I mean, you're all quiet and shit. You don't talk my ear off when I'm pissing.

MAXWELL

Well, you're wel—

CONOR
(continuing on)

I mean, some guys, they just talk and talk at the urinals—like a chick, y'know? Why, I bet if girls had urinals, they'd be in here all day, talkin' and talkin'.

MAXWELL

Yes.

(zips fly and goes to sink)

CONOR

Hey, where ya goin'?

(follows)

MAXWELL

Wash my hands.

CONOR

What? Aw, hell, dude, we don't need any o' that pissy British hygiene shit around here. Hell, real men don't wash their hands after they take a piss!

MAXWELL

I guess I'm not a "real man," then.

(finishes washing)

CONOR

Aw, hell.

(follows Maxwell out, calling after him:)

You Brits don't even brush your damn teeth, for God's sake!

There are another fifty-five pages to the script, but it's not good. I don't even know where they are anymore.
