Pretty damn awesome. You don't see many xanga layouts like that. Especially that thin and long. Nice.
It reminds me of water colors and green tea. |

-I think the banner is a little too long, you should be able to atleast see part of the post on a 1280x1024 resolution
-I'm not so sure about the transparent bg for the posts, it makes the transition from teh banner to the post to the bottom a little odd -The WMP really ruins the over all look/color design of the layout. You should think about just setting up a flash player w/ color that mesh well -You should move all the nav buttons to the top and jsut decrease the amount of buttons. -Because your design is so thin, the scrollbars looks out of place. If possible I would border the whole design to the width of the scroll bar and just have the scroll bars serve as the right border of the posts and bottom module. It takes a bit of coding but it's doable and it's a cool look/effect -You dont have to set another layer w/ a alpha filter for the nav buttons, that and the line makes the whole thing feel too disconnected, just put the buttons onto the banner w/o a second layer. |

No way in the nine hells is that your first layout. My first lay looked like shibby. They still do, actually.
I found two eensy weensy problems that I don't know how to fix but maybe you do. a. the body is a bit misaligned, but it's only by a couple pixels. b. the text goes off the.....watchamacallit. Or at least in my browser, but I'm using Netscape and Netscape screws everything up anyhow. If you find out how to fix those two things, please PM me because I tried to make a similar layout a while back (click here) and had the exact same problems. Great job for first time! |
