i make layouts with gimp but i don't know wut size to make them. if i make them 1024x700 they are to big and i'm not sure wat size to make.

if you are making a div overlay, you should make it what size you think will fit everything the vertical isnt that big of a problem, but with the horizontal you probably shouldn't go over 600px becuase the smallest res. you can have a pc is 800x600
