It uploads files from your computer to your site. So instead of like geocities uploading file by file on a file uploader.. on some sites you use ftp.Which allows you to upload multiple files at once from your computer using the program.

^ It's toya :) and your welcome. For a first program I reccomend smart ftp . If you go to there site you can read a tutorial on uploading and what not its fairly simple.
