I closed the other topic. I'm not too familiar with GIMP, so before I say anything, please try this:

I'd like it full size so I can see the nature of the lines. wink.gif You could be opening the file itself, or the coding to it at least. Yeah.
What Libetie gave you will hep a lot as well.

Okay, so they are in the brushes folder, and they have the .gbr extension? Don't try to just double click on the file, that won't work. If they are in the folder with the rest of the brushes and they aren't zipped, everything should be fine.

If they aren't showing, close GIMP and reopen it and try again. Click the refresh button several times. If THAT doesn't work, close the program again and ctrl+alt+del, click the properties tab, and make sure gimp isn't running in the background. If it is, kill it.

If NONE of that is working, then please take a full sized screenshot, not the tiny one, and also take a screenshot of your brushes folder so someone can actually see what's wrong. At this point we don't know what problem you're having.

Okay, one thing you need to understand:

Nobody knows what your problem is.

So I'm terribly sorry that no one is helping you, but we ARE trying. Please be more specific. And if you were trying to attach a screenshot, try the button that says "add into post". I would really like to see your brushes folder and a bigger version of what you've tried to post already.

^ Um Yea. Just make a bigger screenshot . Like take it don't resize it and upload it to
http://imageshack.us k?thanks

Anyways by reading what you said I can barely tell what your problem is but maybe this will help.
Be more specific too.
QUOTE
Brushes Do not load on next refresh, although I have put them in proper share folder.
When you have such problem, first try refreshing the brushes list, by going into the brushes Tab within gimp, rightclicking and selecting Rrefresh from menu.
And if you still don't get them in list, then open Preferences (from main File menu of gimp), expand the last item called Folders (which is last item in list of perferences). There you will see a sub item Brushes, click it, now on right side, make sure all the listed folders are checked (Checked means the checkbox on left of folders' names is ticked/turned ON).
If still no luck, report to developers quoting the version of gimp you are using, and version of gtk+
