I made a colorization of myself
I noticed once I was doing it, that i couldn't get great colors, so they started to get a dull feel. I guess thats now the look I'm going for.
I also know that I didn't really do a good job staying inside the lines. I wasn't really taking my time, and I just wanted to see how it would turn out

comments and criticism would be awesome

great job. the colors are matte so it gives somewhat of a clammy look but it's not that obvious. the eye whites are a little too grey and i think you forgot to color the rims of the eyes. overall, a very realistic colourization.

The eyes are really pretty. I only don't like the whole like greenish tint to your face.

to get brighter colors its really all about playing around with diff tones. its really difficult and timely to get the right skin color [its all guess and check]
sometimes it helps to have a brighter image. before you colorize change the 'brightness and contrast' of the picture.
and sometimes what makes your colorizations more realistic is to flatten it > double it > gaussian blur the top layer (about 1.5-4ish) > set the top layer to a bleding option (screen or overlay work best)

Wow that's a pretty good colourization to me.

I don't see too much colouring outside the lines, other than the lips.

That's nice! Great job. I agree with mizz_americaz, though.
The hair, the border of the hair k=makes it a bit obvious that you colorized it so maybe feather it a tiny bit up?
