lol he's a cute rapper, if that makes sense. I wouldn't take him seriously. His songs aren't that bad.
I really like him as an actor though, ever since Independence Day he's always been on my good list of actors, lol. |

I like him as both a rapper and actor. I love him just as being an entertainer.
I liked some of his songs and definitely his acting. (i.e. Fresh Prince, Independence Day, Men in Black, Hitch, etc.) |

Your reasoning is lackluster because you step into an internet forum and simply declare something to be "terrible" because you don't particularly like it, regardless of what it truly has to offer. Stick by your opinion; I couldn't give a fcuk or a fcuk less what you think. But don't give an idiotic response then call someone else an idiot when they challenge you. You have this anti-mainstream, non-conformist attitude that makes you look like a complete jackass. In every music related forum, you have successfully stated that every mainstream emcee is garbage when, in reality, you don't know nearly as much as you put off. Get off your goddamn soapbox. Will Smith is a talented actor, and he's marketable. Thats why he can go into an office and demand 50 million dollars per movie. If his acting is so bad, then why are his movies selling out the box office? Ok, so you didn't like Hitch, big whoop, although it was a good movie aimed to couples in their lates twenties/early thirties, it was a movie that people could watch and relate to. As for Will Smith as an artist, he's not "gangsta" and he's not like your favorite "backpackers" but the fact of the matter is, he's making music, there's no message of mysogyny, violence or blatant ignorance and he encourages having a good time. Whether or not you like it is irrelevant, but that doesn't make him terrible. So, do us all a favor (especially fans of the entertainment forum) and shut the fcuk up. |

lyrically, his new album was nice, he used more complex rhyme schemes and multi sylabble rhyming, something that most mainstream emcees don't utilize.
