questions about photoshop Options

i have a bunch of questions.

1. can u buy photoshop? how much does it cost?
2. what does photoshop do? is it, like, an animation program or what?
3. is it one of the best programs?
4. where can u buy it? or do u have to order it?
5. can u make vexels on it?
6. what do most ppl use it for?

i'm really curious about it cause i wanted to buy it so i could make better layouts and stuff. and vexel, cause that looks like fun. please answer my questions!

1. Yes, you can. It usually costs between 300-700 dollars.
2. It's an Image Editing program, and it can do many things, but it is best that the user learn how to operate it..since it can't be told what to do.
3. I believe so, yes.
4. You can buy it at http://adobe.com/ or you should be able to find it at most retailers that sell [major] software.
5. Yes, you can, from what I can tell.
6. Well, it's an image editor/manipulator, and it is used by most people to edit images to their liking. I'm not sure how to explain it...

I would suggest maybe downloading a free trial at the beginning, figure out the stuff, and then see if you like it?

CS2 free trial is @ the adobe.com site

Then again as a free trial I wouldn't start with cs2 . I would try finding other versions so you get the basic hang of it . then move you way up.

Start out with Photoshop 7. It's easier.
