I don't know if you can, but if you can, I think it would be a simple

<style type="text/css">
body {
background-color:black;
color:white;
}

I think. Forgive me if I'm wrong. It's late, and I don't know much about the picture page, because I never have any pics of me to post :).

Is there anywhere in the picture page you can add code to?

Im glad it worked! Try HEX color codes or adding a space after the colon, if that doesn't work, google for text color codes OR text color script OR text color html

:)

Use the code in scripts for the black bg
then for your captions you can use a code that changes the font.

Just add

<style type="text/css">
body {
color:white;
}

into one of the other picture boxes, it should work.

^ IF you put that before the word it will make the font white, also if you leave the page tag open it can also do the tirck. (but you would have to put it in all captions)
http://www.mygen.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.ph...asc&highlight=&

Also you can try adding some codes to your captions. Like in one caption a basic code to change ALL TEXT and in another caption a basic code to change all links.

Yeah, she would have to leave the tag open in a few areas or in a subcaption in a way that dictated covering all of the text. I know there is a simple way to do it, if only I could remember. :)

body {
cursor: crosshair;
color: WHITE;
background-color: BLACK;
background-image: url(URL);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: left top;
background-attachment: fixed;
scrollbar-base-color: ffffff;
scrollbar-track-color: #ffffff;
scrollbar-face-color: #ffffff;
scrollbar-highlight-color: #ffffff;
scrollbar-3dlight-color: #ffffff;
scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #ffffff;
scrollbar-shadow-color: #330000;
scrollbar-arrow-color: #330000;
}

put that in a caption, you can edit it to your wishes

thats why you have to modify it silly.

<style type="html/css">
body {
color: WHITE;
background-color: BLACK;
}

(try that, with no </style>)

Also, if you can find someone with the font colors and the background changed on their pictures page it would help figuring it out a lot :)

you also need this code in another picture caption, cuz it allows the bg to cover the whole background instead of just the right and left margins

<!-- begin code provided by createblog.com -->
<style>table, td {background:transparent}</style>
<!-- end code provided by createblog.com -->

i still can get everything except the text color to work :(

Put the following into each of your picture captions:

caption 1:
<body bgcolor="000000">

caption 2:
<style>table, td {background:000000}</style>

caption 3:
<style>body, table, td, .text{color:FFFFFF</style>

caption 4:
<style>a:link {color:FFFFFF! important;}</style>

This should work. I already tried it.
