i havent been listening to alot of r&b lately. but on the list chris brown owns it imo. "Run It" is such a good song but sadly over-played sad.gif. ne-yo is okay too, i got a couple of his songs.

Where's Trey Songz?

I'd pick him, or Ne-Yo, or maybe possibly Chris Brown.

Lyfe Jennings is kind of different then all of them, but still good.

I want T-Pain to disappear. His voice annoys me to no end.

Lyfe is the best out of those in that list, even though there's something about him that annoys me.

Chris Brown isn't a good singer and the song 'Yo' exposes that his voice hasn't matured. Not to mention the term 'Run It' means to give up your posessions because you're getting robbed. The irony of 'Run It,' (the song) is that Juelz Santana is the featured artist. "Run your watch and your jewels, bitch!"

T-Pain's album is nice, but I'm not a fan of his voice. Don't sleep on his talent.

Bobby Valentino is garbage. Artists like him and Pretty Ricky are killing R&B.

Not a big fan of Ne-yo.

I'm with Lilly, where's my man Trey? Fam's album was nice for real.

And where the hell is John Legend?!

And the winner is... LYFE.

Chris Brown is a terrible singer at times, but his CD still sounds good and in plus he is a good entertainer as far as breakdancing goes.

But although this artist is not on the list and is really not new, I have to go with Jamie Foxx, this is pretty much his year. Slow Jamz and Gold Digger were both classic with his added vocals and I see his song Unpredictable ft. Ludacris going very far.

Can John Legend still be considered a "best new coming r&b artist?" In relation to those listed in the poll, he's an old head. And he's the only one with a. enough exposure b. met the time frame to be nominated for a Grammy. Well, eight, but whatever, you know what I mean.

Even though he's released The Soul Sessions prior to Get Lifted, he has yet to release a sophomore debut. In a way, he's still fairly new to mainstream.

john legend and lyfe jennings can hardly be considered "new artists". well at least not so much as the other three listed. a name that isnt mentioned here is jamie foxx. his new album "unpredictable" just came out and i think its a solid debut. chris brown's self titled album was well.. garbage.. and im not a fan of t-pains voice or his spelling skills.. however i cant hate on ne-yo, dude is pretty nice and he wears bape.. but yeah, jamie foxx people!!

John's been doing his thing in Philly for a minute but the general public still needs to be schooled on him.

I don't really consider Foxx to be new either because of his singles from the Any Given Sunday soudtrack.

Jamie Foxx isn't even close to being a new artist. He released his first album almost 12 years ago titled "Peep This".

Off of that list, I would have to go with Lyfe Jennings, I don't really like the others.

Bobby Valentino has been around for a while too, just not solo.
