I think getting the hang of these things. Did this for the Kate Winslet challenge on glamour.with-you.org. You can view the original there.

AND IT'S ONLY MY SECOND!

Redid the skin, made the hair a little redder.

i think you did a better job on the skin tone with your first one =( this one's skin is kinda dull. i cant believe this is only your second. once agian i have to say that you were born to colorize haha

I think it's great but like mizz_americaz said, the skin tone's too dull.

^ I didn't use a brush, I used the pen tool. I saw it before but didn't feel like fixing it.

Yeah, I did. I had a blonde base and overlayed with with red to create the strawberry blonde look you see before you.

Very nice, I can't do colorizations for the life of me so I am really unable to offer any advice on how to improve it. So I'll just join the general choir of "I LOVE IT!" happy.gif

Good Job.

I love her skin tone! It's like, olive-y. :] Which is perfect! After seeing this, I want to dye my hair that color.. Or have my hair turn out that way. It's like, a Rosey shade with natural highlights. So pretty... :]

And thanks for the compliment, Stephie!

Alright, let me explain this: The title of the piece is "Strawberries and Cream." Strawberries because her hair is a strawberry blonde and cream because I intentionally made her skin pale and cream-ish. It's so it's not "dull."

The hair looks tons awesome. =)

About the skin being "dull", as much as I understand your concept, I still agree a bit with bby_cutie and Maryland. You can make more vibrant, realistic colour shades while still maintaining a pale sort of feel. Personally I think the skin's a bit on the yellow/greenish side.

Oh, and another tip.

Bumping up contrast makes a piece POP majorly. =)

It looks awesome, really really awesome for a second colourization, Carrie!

I didn't even know it was Kate Winslet until I read it at the bottom.
Beautiful job!
The color is gorgeous.
