how do i get back my left module?, left module help

i used a lovely layout from this website on my xanga, but it doesn't have a left module. i thought it would be okay, but it's not! i can't get to my links that are there when i am logged in. is there a way to turn the left module back on somehow?? i'm so confused!!

If you try to add a module on to that layout, that would mean you would have to edit it. You're not allowed to edit layouts, unless the designer gives you permission.

Well no, unless you create your own layout with the left module on there.

yessss... but that wouldn't help either because the problem is that i can't even get to a place to put a new code on. i have no left module whatsoever--logged in or not. _unsure.gif

It's because of the layout that you're using. You're not going to have a left module because the designer of the layout didn't want a left module.

i know. since there is no left module, i cannot change my xanga layout again because that requires use of the left module. so i'm screwed. blink.gif

^ummm actually not.
There should be navigation links somewhere on the layout.
As for this one, I see that it doesn't have them at all (except for subs). ermm.gif

Oh, if you read the Xanga FAQ topic pinned at the topic, you didn't need to ask this question at all.
