(first off it is not completely done, but to lazy to keep working on this thing)

Okay, well I spent most of my free time this week on yet another pixel art. This one is a bit more complex than my last, it contains 6 Buildings and a train.

Basically, I want to know what you think and if there is anything that is off, or anything that strikes you as out of perspective, ect.

And yea, comments would be really nice... so leave them... its easy, just hit reply. biggrin.gif

Where do you get the patience to do something like this?

The train is quite tiny in comparison. Also, you have a crosswalk and a place for cars to stop but no stop sign or stop light, just something I noticed. And unless the dark builing has a entrace that juts forward a bit, the building on the end looks kinda weird. It makes it look like there's a polygonal shaped block that's not a normal shape like a square or rectangle.

It's really really good, though.

Totally awesome! I really want to give that a try some day...

You know what would make it look even more awesome? Add more shadows! Like on the road, or sidewalk...it would totally look even better, y'know? More color...

It's so great though...pixel art takes so much time but it's worth it in the end, y'know?

Good job!
If you want some inspiration for iso-art, check out Front Mission for the SNES. Everty sprite in that game is in iso view, and very well done. There's also an online game called Furcadia that uses an isometric perspective and offers tools to build "dreams" which are little worlds that you can make for others to interact with. It's kinda neat, though you have to deal with furres, yiffers, and twinks.
Have fun!

Yea, I didn't really finish it, so thats why there is only the crosswalk in one spot and no stop light. Which dark building? The red one? huh.gif Well, the entrance to the red one is supposed to look like its like an indent in the building, or something like that.

Anywho, thanks for the comments everyone, if I do work on it again, which I might because I am massively bored right now, I'll try and include everything you guys suggested.

I've circled it.

And when I meant "block," I meant like the street block, just so you know.

Oh, I see now. Yea, not sure how I figured that building would sit on the block. So chalk that one up to bad perspective. happy.gif
