You can't get one for free, but you can pay for a domain and a hosting package.
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=14636 Check under free/paid webhosting. |

These links may help you:
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=111519 http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=105372 You basically need to first register a domain name. You can go to GoDaddy.com to register it, and see if the domain name is available. Once you've registered your domain, then you'll need hosting. The second link above should help you with that. You will then get infromation to enter into your GoDaddy.com account. Once you've set your name servers and have everything set up, your website will work. |

I don't see the point of having a webpage with a domain name. Because if you only have one page, what's the point? The only people that have those domains are people that have more than one page on their website.
I recommend, instead of paying for a domain and a hosting package that you use your own computer as a server. That's what I'm doing, and it works great! No limitations what-so-ever. Free flying. And than all you have to do is pay $9.95 a year to have a domain. Now, I don't recommend that to anyone that doesn't know what they are doing. It's an easy way to get hacked and than somehow they shut down your computer. Very big security risk. It also opens ports... Well, happy trying to do whatever you are! ![]() |

Yeah... but do you have a T1 line and a computer equipted with server software? What are your DNS servers, etc...
Edit: I did a WHOis search on your site (found it in a topic about the music), and I see what you did... but I'm a little confused. So you have a company provide name servers that connect to your computer? |

Hmm... then how do you use your computer as a server? Most broadband providers prohibit that.

The power of Routers, **whow**. Maybe it's my router or something. I don't use AOL, I got Road Runner, the high speed, high priced ISP!
Another thing is, well, the Apache Command Box closes out sometimes, which annoys me.... |
