does anybody know how you can take video stills from a music video?

this might be in the wrong forum, but it doesn't really fit in anywhere else.

The above tutorial will work, but sometimes it messes with the playback quality for me.

You could try Grabber, Windows Media Player won't allow you to take screenshots with your keyboard. You need software to do it. As far as I know, Grabber's free and it's fairly easy to use.

Print Screen works, it's just that you need to pause and then press Prt Scrn.

okay, THE PRNT SCREEN WONT WORK ALL THE TIME PEOPLE!

It rarely works for videos, music videos, and dvd watching.

You really gotta get a specific program for it.

Google: vlc (It's a program...Video Lan something...)

I had it and it worked wonders.

Try it. It works.

And are you looking for screencaps from movies, like Batman or something? Go check out my post in the BBOR...
