that's what happens when you break up, you get emotional and in most cases, you cry. just because you broke up with him doesn't mean that you'll be all "woohoo." you cared about him and invested your heart into the relationship but as much as you wanted it to work out, it just didn't...

break ups suck but things will get better thumbsup.gif

don't blame yourself for anything he does. you didn't put the alcohol in his hand and force him to drink. you did what you had to do, you left because it wasn't working out anymore. he can't expect you to stick around when it makes you miserable.

i suppose this is how the healing process begins for some guys, my ex did the same thing and i believe that he's taking up smoking. sometimes boys are just so ugh.

Breakups happen and they relieve you from your pain, relationship-wise.

Then the real pain begins... (DUN DUN DUN..)

I'm kidding whistling.gif But athough it does seem like the end of the world for a while, it'll end. You're in tears because you cared for him (and still do). Perhaps you ended the relationship because you didn't like 80% of what was happening. But the other 20% doesn't just go away.. and you're probably mourning for that right now.

Someday you'll find someone else who'll give it to you 100% _smile.gif Or you might find it quite relaxing and carefree to be single wink.gif

Breakups are always hard, of course you are in tears. But you had a reason to break up with him and even now you said that it wasn't working and all. Just stick to your decision. Don't worry, the tears and hurt is all normal! Over time things will get better, and you might even start to feel relieved that it happened! so don't worry :)

it's actually completely natural for you to be sad after you broke it off with someone, i mean breaking up isn't a very easy thing to do is it? you obviuosly still have feelings and still care about him, but that takes awhile to get over. you must've a reason on why you broke up with him in the first place, so don't worry, it's not your fault that he started drinking, it's not like you forced him or anything like Chii said.
so cheer up everything's gonna be fine

^ But she didnt want to be with him because it was routine. Did you read the post ?

Its natural to feel sad after a breakup no matter who ended it with who. Its a good thing youre still there for him, and its a good thing youre making it clear as just a friend. In due time, it wont hurt anymore.

you do care about him and it's hard breaking up someone you care about him
even though you repeat the same things everyday..you just want something different

That happened to one of my friends.
She didn't like him, but when she broke up with him she was the one crying.
Well hope you get better.
