how much does music influence fashion, and how is music influenced by fashion?

^ Yeah she most likely is. If she is, that topic targets Hiphop influences. Not overall music.

I think its like a circle. We dont know where it started but we know either way Music gets fashion from observing the streets and finding out whats "hot" and other times we see somethign a music artist has started to wear and we all want it :D

If the other one's about hip hop, this one's different. This is generally.

I think music plays a huge part in how people dress. First there are the "punk" kids who like punk music. And then there are the "emo" kids who like emo music. And then the "ghetto" kids who like whatever is left.

Of course, not everyone dresses about the music.

well... it goes both ways. i know that converse trend influenced rock, and grunge influenced flannel shirts in the 90's rolleyes.gif

i think that music influences fashion a lot. if someone listened to hardcore screamo, they wouldnt exactly be wearing a&f, you know? music is influenced by fashion because if you wear ripped jeans and chucks and band shirts, no one would think you listen to like.. kelly clarkson or anything.

looks can be deceiving . i've seen some people i would never expect listen to mainstream rap
