There are ceratain ways to do this, but first off
i think that people HATE to admit when they're wrong, most of the time, when they blow up at someone over nothing. even when they realise it was wrong and stupid they keep on defending their actions.

for example, the other day my friend was over and we were playing cards, she decides to leave all the sudden with her guy friend and rushes out the door, i said i was going to the bathroom and asked taryn if she wanted me to lock the door (because it was 2 AM in the morning). so, i lock it, goto the bathroom, come out and suddenly here this booming on the door. she comes busting in like a crazy person saying "FU** FU** FU**" and we though the guy had done something to her and she was like "no fu** you guys you locked me out fu** you". even after we told her what happened she was still like (after getting more calm) "well you were being mean to me all night blah blah blah you shouldnt of locked me out" -insert more excuses here-
it would of been over 30 mins sooner if she would have just come outright and said "sorry i missunderstood" jesus christ.

so, do you admit your wrong or make an even bigger ordeal out of it to try and convince the other person that you're right?

Not easily, no.

But I don't make some huge ordeal about it. I'm all about being civilized.

But that doesn't mean I'll back down easily.

Sometimes I will... it all just depends on the situation.

Yes, often too much, in fact. I tend to over apologize, which just becomes ridiculous. If I actually feel strongly, I'll admit it and then get defensive. But really, while my tactics may not be the best, I'm better at admitting it than most

Eh, I guess sometime it depends on the situation. When I'm adamant about something, and then it turns out that I'm wrong, I don't admit defeat easily. Eh, I guess most of the time I don't admit that I'm wrong too easily.

It really depends on whether or not I strongly believe in it or not...if I'm OBVIOUSLY wrong I'll admit it. Like when I tried to balance a chemical equation when it was already balanced that one day, I had to admit to my guy friend that I screwed up. lol okay random.

If it's something about opinion or morals...and I have my own opinion, then no. But...that just means I'm not right OR wrong, does it? Oh, this is so confusing.

I deliberately don't admit it when they seem to be rubbing it in my face that I'm wrong. Especially my sister or something like that.

Or when I originally acted so strongly in a situation and I find out I've been wrong this whole time. It's so incredibly hard for a stubborn person to admit they're wrong -_-. However, if I knew I was wrong from the START, then I would've admitted with ease.

Otherwise, I don't like admitting i'm wrong, Only because the people that are telling me i'm wrong try to come off as "better then me". It's all about their attitudes, and I hate that.
If it's an honest misunderstanding and the other person is mature about it, then It's no problem. It's when the person is mocking you or something, or calling you stupid. And if I know i'm right about something, there is no way i'm going to tell you that i'm wrong. I used to let people step all over me, but not anymore.

um honestly with the ppl i hang out with most of the time im right but when im wrong i try to just say im wrong but when im wrong we kinda just laugh it off so i dont feel bad about being wrong. im the type of person who trys to figure out why things happen and all that so in the case about the being loked out i would have been like why did you lock the door youd explain and id be like oh and leave it at that.(srry for the long reply)

but this girl in my class is CRAZY.
this girl does work for everyone in her group and doesnt even let her group members look at the damn thing and later she tells the teacher that she's the only one that did the work. and when she's wrong she yells at you and tells you that you are wrong and i felt like smacking her but the bell rang =D
